What are the New American Revolution and the New American Dream?
The Dream is the means by which to accomplish the Revolution.

The New American Revolution is a movement in the hearts of the people that has never died. It's the kind of revolution we all want and need. Still just as much, and stronger than ever. This revolution is about taking back our world by shedding apathy and fear, and then living by actively being the changes we wish to see in the world. We do this personally, collectively and globally. We do this socially, ecologically, politically, and economically, as well as spiritually an d philosophically.
We exist to show you that it’s happening for real, and that we are living the dream that makes it happen, as well. If you need a light to find your way, we can show you a few ways
that it’s currently being done.
Revolution is a very long process, taking many decades, and we live in amazing times of sociocultural renaissance and revolution.
We stand on the shoulders of giants and hand off a better new world
to the ones that follow us.
We do this by working together, in solidarity, invigorating,
liberating and empowering one another.
We need to gather the collective resources and people power
of a good part of the 99%, to transition out of the old paradigms
and to transform this into a humane, sustainable, harmonious society.
We do the revolution on all levels, political, economic, cultural,
by growing gardens, building homesteads and communities,
forming co-ops and collectives, educating children as though they are conscious beings,
with power to activate and change the world for the better...
We do this for the next generations, to the Seventh Generation and beyond,
and we do this for reparation of damage to the Earth by us and our ancestors.
We stand at the pique of a powerful crossroads, of movements that have been fermenting for decades, seeing and knowing that we are finally reaching the critical mass tipping points
that could send us to either the abyss,
or into a new world, a world that resonates on a truth frequency,
where harmony is a vibration that everyone wants to attune to,
and live in cooperation and consciousness, rather than competition and consumption.
We need to collectively build the New American Dream as the New World Now—most especially a
network of linked projects and homesteads and communities, each one different and each one willing
to welcome activists in our network for residencies, volunteer work for the community or project, and
also paid work to fund their mission as a traveling activist crew. We could also have other crews that
fulill the New American Dream, (such as a Vending Crew to go to Music Festivals)
The New American Dream is to either be a financially stable nomad with the freedom to travel as a
lifestyle, or to own a sustainable homestead which would be a home basis for a healthy way to live,
with urban or permaculture gardening, natural architecture, natural power generation,
creative self employment, and more.
The dream, either as a homeowner or traveler, is to be free to travel, to stay at
awesome places, to generate income with self employment, and live a life of creativity, joy and
freedom. Most of the locations where we have an outpost or a headquarters or a project, will be
near a power beauty spot, like the one in Rhode Island being near Narangansett Beach, so activists
have a place to plug in and recharge, as they plug in, participate and move along to reinvigorate other
areas and projects. Many or all will be near colleges.
The theme of this New World Now edition of the zine is about the New American Dream, as shown by the projects in our network, and the New American Revolution, which these lifestyles of social justice activism and communitarianism strive to manifest.
We are putting ourselves out there in the lovely
trenches and along the grafitti laden front lines,
to show that we CAN live the New American Dream,
which strengthens and invigorates the New American Revolution.
This movement is so awesome that it actually is changing lives and communities, empowering us all to be the changes we wish to see in the world, by actually living what we believe, and practicing it in our daily lives and in our choices.

As we collaborated and had our creative brainstorms, in putting together this epic edition of the zine,
we realize more and more that there truly is a New American Revolution well under way.
It is alive and well, in the hearts of people everywhere.
And the truth is, living the New American Dream
is the means by which to accomplish this revolution.
The New American Dream is to take back our lives, our voices, our personal and collective power,
our cultural and capital resources, take it all back
and live lives of true freedom, community, cooperation and collaboration.
Real humyn life, not enslaved by old paradigms....
So, the way to take back this power, to take back our lives, is to live the New American Dream,
which has really always lived in the hearts of people everywhere, but is now urgently wished for
by uncountable masses..The real dream is to either own a sustainable homestead and be a home base
for community and neotribal type living, or to be a stable and secure nomad, who has the freedom to travel, to volunteer at a network of projects, and to earn money to continue on the mission…
The mission is to live the dream, and inspire others to do the same, in enough numbers that large scale societal change spreads like a healthy virus.
Self replicating memes that activate our sociocultural evolution, and get us
where we need to be to stop the insanity, stop the trashing of the Earth, stop the descent into hell that humanity seems headed for, and instead join together as humanity in ways that real people have always preferred, which is to be tribal, cooperative, good natured, caring, balanced,
in harmony with the world around them.
The theme of this year's 2014 Edition of the New World Rising Magazine is
Building the New World Now.
You will see themes of revolution and evolution, of personal and collective activism,
and of people actually living the Life, the kind of life that makes the revolution we all hope for…
but we have to do it together, both personally and collectively.
